The system incorporated:
  250 servos
  over 100 vision cameras
  laser etched bar codes
  78 vibratory feeder bowls

A rotary axis was added for part rotation as well as a “Y” axis for part tray location.

Stations like this completed as many as four separate assembly operations within the 7.8 sec cycle time.
